Do I need a Form 1583 for family members or my business?

Updated over 2 months ago

Yes. USPS requires us to have a completed Form 1583 for every recipient on the account. Recipients can be individuals or companies.

For Individuals: Each recipient must complete a Form 1583 with valid ID's. 2 ID's are required for adults and 1 for minors.

For Companies: The business entity needs a Form 1583 and our system will guide you through the flow to provide a fully completed Form 1583 ready for signature at the end. โ€‹Also 1 primary name is required for all Business accounts - this would be an officer of the company and will have to sign Form 1583.

This ensures full compliance with USPS regulations and helps protect your account from unauthorized use.
