An item shows delivered but does not show in my mailbox?

Updated over 2 months ago

For an incoming shipment - meaning it was sent to your USGM address by someone else, we do not have visibility into the package or tracking until it physically arrives at our facility and is scanned by our team.

Once the item is delivered to us and processed, it will appear in your mailbox automatically and you’ll receive a notification.

If USPS or another carrier shows an item as “delivered” but you don’t see it in your U.S. Global Mail inbox, here’s what could be happening: USPS might have marked a package as “delivered” even if it’s still sitting at their local post office. This is often done to meet their internal delivery quotas. In such cases, the tracking may show “delivered” prematurely even though the item hasn’t yet reached our warehouse.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Check the full delivery address in your tracking details—make sure it says it was delivered to your actual warehouse address (e.g., in Houston, it's delivered to 1321 Upland Drive, Houston TX 77043). Usually such shipments will show just the zip code and not the whole address, which is an indication that it is still at the local post office and not delivered to us yet.

  2. Contact the sender to confirm the correct shipping details were used.

  3. Wait a little longer - in many cases, USPS delivers the item within 24–48 hours of the marked “delivery.”

If it’s been more than 48 hours since the “delivery” scan and the item still hasn’t appeared in your account, feel free to reach out to our support team. We’re happy to investigate further.
