HOW TO INSURE YOUR SHIPMENTS

When requesting a shipment, under Step 2 where you declare your items, toggle the "Insure Shipment" button and enter the amount to be insured:

Insurance depends on the declared value of the package and shippers that you select.

For an estimate, insurance costs approximately 2% of the shipment value. 

We offer FREE INSURANCE for the first $100 of your package value.

For example, if you have an iPhone package that you declare as $500 in value and it is shipped with FedEx and the item is lost, we can make a claim for you.

If you select the item to be insured we will ask you for proof of purchase. With that proof, we will submit that to FedEx and attempt to get money back for the lost item to the amount of $500. If you do not select the Insure option for that package then you are likely to be reimbursed $100.
