Insure your shipments

Updated over 3 months ago

Peace of mind is just one toggle away.

When requesting a shipment go to Step 2: Item Declarations.
There, you’ll see a button labeled “Insure Shipment.”
Toggle it on, enter the value of your item, and you're covered.

How Much Does Insurance Cost?

  • The first $100 is always free.

  • After that, insurance costs around 2% of your declared value—depending on the carrier.

Real-World Example:

You’re shipping an iPhone worth $500 via FedEx:

  • You select Insure Shipment, enter $500, and upload proof of purchase

  • If it’s lost? We’ll file a claim on your behalf

  • FedEx reimburses up to the full amount—$500

Didn’t insure it?
You're likely capped at just $100—regardless of what the item’s worth.

Bottom line:

If it matters to you, it’s worth protecting.
