Yes, you can do that with USPS mail forwarding.

Yes, you keep your current address and still use a virtual mailbox. Here's how that works: Sign up with US Global Mail and get an address. Then complete a mail forwarding with USPS to redirect all the mail that was coming to your old address to your new US Global Mail address. Everyone still sends mail like they were sending to your old address but USPS intercepts it in the middle and re-routes it to your virtual mailbox with us.

What is USPS Mail Forwarding?

When you move, USPS offers a service that reroutes your mail from your old address to your new one. It’s called mail forwarding, and it helps make sure you don’t miss anything important. Bills. Checks. Government documents. Your grandma's birthday check!

How Long Does USPS Forward Mail?

The answer depends on whether your move is permanent or temporary.

Permanent Change of Address (COA)

  • First-Class Mail and packages are forwarded for up to one year.

  • Magazines and newspapers are forwarded for 60 days.

  • After that, mail is returned to the sender with your new address for six months.

Temporary Change of Address (COA)

  • Covers moves lasting 15 days to 6 months.

  • Can be renewed twice, extending forwarding up to 30 months total.
