What if I want to change my US Global Mail virtual mailbox address?

Changing Your US Global Mail Address

Updated over a week ago

If you wish to change your virtual mailbox address, it is only possible before your Form 1583 is approved.
โ€‹

Why?
Your mailbox address is legally tied to your USPS Form 1583, which authorizes us to receive and handle mail on your behalf. Once this form is approved by the USPS, your account becomes associated with the specific mailbox address listed on that form.

Because of this legal requirement:

  • Address changes are allowed only if your Form 1583 has not yet been approved.

  • Once the form is approved, the address cannot be modified.

This policy ensures compliance with USPS regulations and protects the integrity of your mail authorization.

What can you do if your address is already approved?

If your Form 1583 has already been approved and you would like to use a different mailbox address, the only option is to:

  1. Create a new account with the desired address.

  2. Complete and submit a new Form 1583 for that address.

This ensures the correct legal authorization is in place for the new mailbox.

If you're unsure whether your Form 1583 has already been approved, feel free to reach out to our support team, and weโ€™ll be happy to check and guide you through the next steps.
