How do I automate mail opening and scanning?

Set up auto-scanning for your mail.

You can automate mail scanning and shipments right from your account settings. Here’s how:

To enable automatic scanning:

  1. Go to Settings → Automations.

  2. Select the Auto Scan tab.

  3. Toggle on the switch for the type(s) of mail you’d like to be scanned:

    • Letters

    • Large Letters

You can choose to auto-scan one or both types based on your preferences. You can disable this feature anytime by toggling the switch off.

To set up automatic shipments:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Automations → Shipment Scheduling.

  2. Turn on the Shipment Scheduling switch.

  3. Complete the required setup:

    • Select your destination address.

    • Choose your preferred shipping carriers for each mail type.

    • Optionally, add notes in the Instructions field to include special handling requests.

Automating these features helps ensure your mail is scanned and shipped with no manual steps required.
