The Mail Notes feature allows you to leave comments on specific mail items for your reference or for other team members with access to the mailbox. This is especially useful for recordkeeping, task delegation, or internal communication across teams.
How to add a note to a mail item:
Click on the mail item from your Inbox to open Item Details
Scroll to the Mail Note section at the bottom
Type your note (up to 1000 characters)
Click the Send icon (paper airplane) to save it
The note will appear immediately below with a timestamp and your name.
What else can I do with notes?
✅ Edit notes: Click the pencil icon next to your note to make changes
✅ Delete notes: Use the trash icon to remove any note
✅ View all notes: Click “View More” to see the full note history on that item
💡Notes are especially powerful when used with shared team accounts. You can clarify scan requests, add tasks, interactions, or mark an item as “needs review.”
