What if a package was returned to US Global Mail?

Updated over 2 months ago

If a package you shipped out is returned to us by the carrier, it will be re-logged into your virtual mailbox once it arrives back at our facility. You’ll receive a notification just like you would for any new incoming mail.

✅ The returned item will show up in your inbox as a new mail piece
✅ You can choose to reship it, discard it, or hold it for later

Common reasons for returned packages include:

  • Incorrect or incomplete recipient address

  • The recipient was unavailable to receive the shipment

  • Customs issues (for international shipments)

  • Package refused by the recipient

If you’re not sure why the package was returned, you can check the tracking details or contact the carrier directly for clarification. Our support team is also happy to help you review and resolve the issue.
